Privacy Policy

This page explains the features included in Fashiiontaco and the information involved in using them.

Reading articles

No sign-in is needed. The website includes no analytics or advertising trackers, shopping basket or contact form. Fonts come from your device; images, styles and scripts are delivered with the pages. The web host processes connection information to serve the site. Whether server logs are retained, and for how long, depends on the host configuration.

German or English

Only when opening the address without a language path does the browser request https://ipwho.is/?fields=success,country_code. IPWHOIS receives your IP address and ordinary technical connection information. The request asks for success status and country code. DE, AT, CH and LI select German; other or unknown countries select English. Errors or a five-second timeout also select English.

Clicking DE or EN stores your choice locally in the browser under fashiiontaco-language. That choice takes priority over the country lookup. Change it with the language links or remove it by clearing website data. Pages with /de/ or /en/ in the path do not perform the lookup. IPWHOIS service privacy notice

Article search

Search, filters and pagination run in your browser. The selection appears in the page address. When that address is loaded or shared, its search parameters may be visible to the host or recipient. There is no external search service.
